Questions Most People Ask
1. Can a Christian have a demon?
Yes and no. According to l Thessalonians 5:23, the Holy Spirit resides in our spirit man--that can never be possessed by the demonic if we have Christ in our hearts. Demons may be present in a person's soul or physical body.
2. What is a "wounded part", "alter" or "MPD"?
A "wounded part", "alter" or Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) which is a term used by clinicians, defines when the mind psychologically separates in the soul realm into individual personalities. They are a survival mechanism to help young children and adults get through the trauma. For example, when a young girl is molested by her father at an early age, she cannot handle the abuse, so a "split" is created in her mind. In this split, the wound was created that knows about the abuse. Therefore, the abuse holds onto the pain of the event. We once ministered to a 41-year-old woman who was abused by her step-father. When the wound or personality "came up" to talk to us, her voice was like that of a small, frightened child. After we ministered Inner Healing to the wound, the Holy Spirit removed the fear from her and she felt the Holy Spirits peace.
3. I am going through Inner Healing and am feeling much better in my emotions. Should I discontinue my medications?
No. We would recommend that you talk to your doctor before you decide to discontinue your medications. Then prayerfully consider the doctor's decision.
4. I thought, that once I was saved, all these Generational curses would be gone from my life. Is this true?
No. We must appropriate it by breaking the curses over our lives. Just as it is a fact that not everyone is saved. Those of us who are saved receive Christ into our hearts with our mouths. That is the same with breaking Generational curses.
5. What are Soul Ties?
A soul tie is a spiritual cord or bond between two people, animals or things. It can be either good or work for evil. An example of a good soul tie between friends is the story of Jonathan and David. Their souls were knit together. In 1 Samuel 18:1, it says, "And it came to pass, when he (David) had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan (Saul's son) was knit with the soul of David and Jonathan loved him as his own soul." In verse 3, it goes on to say that David and Jonathan actually formed a covenant because they love each other so deeply. Their souls were knit together; they had a godly friendship soul tie. Just as two souls can be knit or made to cleave together in a covenant relationship, they can also be tied or knit together to form bondage and enslavement. This is called an ungodly soul tie with a sexual partner other than the spouse. Sometimes, when a person has had sex outside of marriage, they may often think of that sexual partner until that soul tie is severed off their soul.
